No, we don’t have 100 years of combined experience. No, we don’t have a top-of-the-line studio. What we do have is passion. Passion for developing games and creating an experience for our beloved players, and determination to push through the toughest challenges to bring you guys the best possible games that we can make. Negative Zero was created around the ideal that players come first. We want to hear what you think of our projects and ideas! Send us your feedback on our Facebook or Twitter.
Hey there, my name is Dustin and I’m the Project Lead of Venturi. Game design and programming have been my passion since I was 12 years old and tinkering with the first iterations of Game Maker. Since then I have made Unity3D my home and become pretty proficient with C# but I’m always learning about the entire game-development pipeline. Venturi is my first soon-to-be-released game, but far from my first project. I’ve lead other team ventures with varying amounts of success and each one has given me that much more experience with project management.
Hey there! My name is Rob! I’m 24 years old and since I was a little kid, always wanted to make some sort of video game. I’m a writer, designer, animator, list writer, self-taught Pixel artist and overall creative crazyperson. In the past few years I’ve had my popular Youtube channel making silly animations about auroras, casseroles and trucks having sex. In between that, I enjoy all sorts of music, reading every kind of book there is and watching a lot of trash TV. I have a professional background in Blog writing, Technical Writing and a buttload of Storytelling.
I’m an 18-year-old creative writer who dreams of being one of those big name authors that everyone knows about— whether you’ve read their work or not. I have written stories and played video games for as long as I can remember, and despite my age, I think it’s about time I throw myself out there and show the world what I can do. I specialize in creating character interactions, dialogue, and all those background stories no-one ever reads. I’m in the process of writing a large fantasy series in which I’ve created from my inspiration from my favourite authors, including R.A. Salvatore and Michael J. Sullivan.
My name’s Jaime, I’m a performer, composer and sound designer living in Brooklyn, NY. I’ve played violin since the age of five and over the years I picked up piano, guitar and a bunch of other instruments. I’ve played in and written music for orchestras, punk/metal bands, off-Broadway musicals and more. Over the past few years I’ve gotten hooked on film and video game music/audio, composing the soundtracks for a number of short films and cutting my teeth on a handful of games as well. Melding my musical endeavors with my lifelong passion for video games has felt like a dream. As sound designer and co-composer of Venturi I am able to experiment and grow in my craft while being part of something special.
Hi there! My name’s Chris, I’m 30, and I’ve loved music since I was a kid. I started out banging on tomato soup cans to Huey Lewis and The News. I moved up to real drums, and eventually went on to study composition and percussion in college. I slowly became more involved in electronic music, and now it’s my primary focus (though I still play drums in a sludgy metal band). I make music in a mix of dub, downtempo and psychill styles, under the moniker Spiral Minded. Since I started, people have always said I should compose for video games. Now that’s a reality, and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of the Venturi team!
Hello! I’m Nick, a 22-year-old software guy. I enjoy learning how things work and using that knowledge to build things of my own. Computers, programming, technology, and gaming have been my hobbies and fascinations since I was a little guy. My dad got me into PC gaming when I was three, and my interest in it still burns strongly. Software, on the other hand, caught my interest back in 2002 when I was ten years old, and I’ve been pursuing it as a career ever since. I’m currently in college, but I still see myself as mostly self-taught. I’m comfortable in many languages, but C#, C, and Ruby are my all-time favorites.
Magician, musician, designer, engineer, player, dev, constructor, problem solver, in short… a designer.
My journey started over 10 years ago, with a simple news website about games; and I never looked back. After years of practice, doing websites big and small, t-shirts, banners, stickers, card and interfaces, I developed my style which you could describe as minimalist, clean, modern, yet versatile when it comes to mood. Interest in games made it pretty natural to apply my skills not only to web related creations, but also to meet needs of game developers.
Working as a part of Venturi’s team, I’m responsible for design of the interface and interaction with a player, making it pleasure for the eye, but at the same time comfortable and practical.
Whats up? My name is Tyler and my trade is computer software. My age is 22 and I see myself mostly as an engineer that loves to practice in multiple fields including software, audio, and anything else I can craft a solution for. I’ve loved electronics since my first memories and have led me to be involved in building software, developing games, DIY recording studios and many other projects! Some of my favorite languages to code in involve java, c++, c#, and python.
